TQUK LEVEL 3 PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID (BLENDED LEARNING)
This is the online part one of this regulated qualification, you need to also complete the practical part two before you can receive your regulated qualification. This is the latest 2019 version as laid down by the Awarding Organisations.
Description
This course includes the latest CPR and Coronavirus recommendations.
This qualification is designed for those learners wishing to become a paediatric first aider in the workplace with a responsibility for the welfare of infants and children. This qualification is intended for learners already working or preparing to work in the industry.
Learners gaining this qualification will know that first aid is the responsibility of everyone involved in the working environment. Topics within this course are regarded by the Early Years Foundation Stage as being important to maintaining good practice in the safe, prompt and effective treatment of injuries and ill health of infants and children who are under the care of trained personnel.
This qualification meets the requirements for Paediatric First Aid outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements.
This accredited qualification provides theoretical and practical training in First Aid techniques that are specific to infants aged 0 to 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. Learners will become familiar with the role of the paediatric first aider and be able to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation, such as a child or an infant who is unresponsive, has an airway obstruction or is suffering from shock.

You will shortly receive your login datils to https://www.protrainings.uk/ where you will complete the online learning prior to your practical exam.
PLEASE NOTE, The online learning element must be completed before you attend your practical assessment day. Part Two - Practical Assessment
TQUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) Blended Part 2 for those who have completed the online part. We are the only company to be able to offer an alternative to the 2 days in the classroom for childminders and carers who need to complete a Paediatric First Aid Course to comply with the requirements of Ofsted, EYFS, CSSIW and SureStart. Our blended course offers a video-based online course that is completed before attending a full day in the classroom with an instructor to complete the practical part of the course. ProTrainings Paediatric courses are approved by most councils across the UK.
This course offers an excellent alternative for those who are simply unable to spare the time to attend 2 days in a classroom only course. When you have successfully completed both the online and classroom modules, you will be issued a ProTrainings wall certificate and wallet card.
Prerequisites
Please be advised that the classroom course has a minimum age requirement of 14.
